I join the files of a campaign based on the Adriatic 2.cam file. The duration is shorter than that of the entire conflict, but the .crf file extends until November 1918, for those who wanted it. In order to ensure a certain balance of forces, the French fleet is left out of the game, with the exception of several destroyers. In reality, after Italy entered the war in 1915, the French BBs and Bs no longer operated north of the Strait of Otranto. Due to the difficulty of the AI in moving the Italian BBs from Taranto, these are supposed to be based in Corfu. I accepted the suggestion to simulate the Italian motor torpedoboats (MAS) as if they were submarines with accuracy 1. All ships are present in the SAI "design" file. Any suggestion or criticism will be appreciated. Merry Christmas to all. Adriatic2rev1.zip (43.22 KB)

Thank you very much for this campaign. Thank you for appreciation. Due to the strange tendency of AI ships to enter every friendly base near which they are sailing, it often happens that Italian BBs sailed from Corfu immediately enter the port of Valona and disappear from the game. Using the Campaign Editor you can reduce the "attraction" radius (usually around 10 ky) from the point of entry into Valona harbour. In addition, you can place a fictitious Italian coastal minefield (density 0) just south of Valona, in order order to divert the AI ships from the coast.

As a newbie I certainly missed something, and I need your help.
After having launched the Adriatic2Rev1 campaign, I get many messages signalling: "Cannot find.... " various design ships in the SAI\Design folder. Actually I was not able to find these design ships in he folder (e.g. ErsatzMonarch.sdf and BenedettoBrin.sdand many other) Where can these and other design ships be got? Thanks a lot

Various ship files are available at the "A new SAI campaign" thread, which include the ships you mentioned. If you encounter other difficulties, I will try to help you further.

Thank you so much for the kind and quick answer. Actually the threads seem to me a great mess and even through the accurate search for a thread named "A new SAI Campaign" I got a plethora of posts also of different threads and browsing through them I am not able to lcate a downloadable file with the requred ship designs. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sorry for having contributed in part to the mess you speak of. However you have to go to page 2 of these Discussions and there you will find the thread "A new SAI campaign" in the penultimate place. On 24 September 2019 and then again on 11 January 2020 I have attached various files, including those which perhaps include the ships of your interest. Most of them are already in the standard SAI game files.

Thanks again, I greatly appreciate your kindness.
Actually I located dhe posts you're referring to and browsed all attachments thereof. I did find there he campaign, flags and the fine "A short History" pdf files, but no trace at all of ship design files.
Sorry for having annoyed you. I sincerely appreciate your valuable contirbutions to the development of this fine SAI game.

You'll excuse me if I tried to entice you to play also my Mediterranean campaign... About missing ships files for the Adriatic campaign, you should have installed on your PC a directory titled Steam and Iron. In that directory you should then find a folder called Designs, where you will find the .sdf files of all the ships from 1914 to 1918 and beyond. Then there is a second folder, called Custom Files, where you can add other ships, created with the Designship tool or downloaded. If necessary, give me a list of the ships that are missing and I will try to send you the related .sdf files, to then put in the Custom Files folder. This is what I understand, however please note that I am certainly not a computer whiz.

Thank you again for your kindness. Of course no such files are in my Design and Custom folders. List of missing design ships very long, hope to find the time to draft the list.

Evidently your Designs folder (where are the .sdf files of ships appearing in NWS SAI scenarios/campaigns) is different from mine, because mine contains both Benedetto Brin and Ersatz Monarch (with space between the two names).

I would love to try your campaigns, vonfriedman, but I appear to have the same problem - many missing ships. Any chance you could, please, upload the contents of your Custom Files folder as a zip so that we can include them? I can't find these custom ships in any other thread on here.
