Currently running a battle where an enemy B sunk just inside the minefield of a port. One of my DDs is now attempting to rescue crew there. It is not possible for the DD to enter the minefield so it can never actually do the rescue.

Hum...not sure how to classify this one...prob the DD should not attempt to rescue anyone inside a mine field (even if the sunk ship was commanded by the CIC's favorite son-in-law...)

Didn't stop the live bait squadron, (but there it was worse, because it turned out not to be a minefield).

See HMS Nepune. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Neptune_(20)But you must have said yes to the rescue attempt? Amid a slew of messages and/or an end battle "yes to all". its unlikely that when a "detach to rescue" question comes up I would actually go and check where said ship is. Im normally going on is the battle still dangerous? if its moderately dangerous is it friendly/enemy? if we arent shooting much go ahead and get the poor fellows out of the water for the photo op.
