Noticed during a large battle.
A squadron of DDs on a torp attack run is ordered to make smoke.
As the DDs are closing in some take damage.
One of the DD is detached by the computer or me due to damage.
This DD is still under fire.
When it detaches it stops making smoke making it more vulnerable to that incoming fire.
Suggestion is a logic check that if a ship detaches from a squadron that if that squadron was making smoke it should continue to do so.
