Starting in 1920 I have gone for no Versaille but random treaty. However I have scrapped all bar the first class of dreadnoughts including those under construction, all Battlecrusiers, Armoured Cruisers, Submarines and, modern Destroyers and Light Cruisers. From a role playing point this is as the High Seas fleet did not scuttle itself at Scapa Flow and the new international naval treaty was deemed sufficient to prevent the High Seas Fleet being reforged. The random treaty I have roled is no ships of 18,000 tons or more and no guns over 12''.
This is the state of play of the fleet after the cuts have been made. I have started the construction of 40 submarines and 5 treaty Battleships to replace the predreadnoughts as of 1920.

IT IS WAR. Tensions have risen to such a point that war has broken out between us and the Soviet Union. During the six years leading up to this we have embarked on a large scale construction program of capital ships with our battleline consisting of 5 treaty battleships and 3 treaty Battlecruisers as well as the large heavy cruisers of the Von der Tann's that were designed and built to deal with the Soviet Cruisers. As for light forces The Gefion class is our only class of modern light cruisers in service with the Thetis class with its twin turrets still a few months off. The V1's also provide a fast fleet escort.
