After a battle ends, the game should continue to run for 5-10 minutes if there are still torpedoes in the water.

A limited version of the battle simulation continues for several hours after the battle ends; I don't think it tracks active torpedoes, but it does track flooding, fires, and damage control efforts. Post-battle mine strikes and submarine torpedo hits and the resultant flooding and damage control efforts are likewise modeled in this period.

Yes, but, as you can see in the picture I posted, there's a decent chance that torpedo would have hit that destroyer, and that can mean the difference between the enemy having a ship, and Davy Jones having it.

yeah this would be nice ive had a singular destroyer suicide rush get killed right next to a bc with torps halfway there and getting the "nation has no ships left" message and the battle ending edit: just had a perfect example Attachments:
