August 1915
We will also be building a new colonial cruiser:

May 1916
The new naval secretary wants to build 18 new destroyers. Fine, I also want to build 18 new destroyers. But where is the money coming from to pay for it? He doesn't have an answer to that, but wants me to build them anyway.
The new Fortunate design has 8 TTs and at 32 kts is 1 kt faster than the previous Excellent design.

April 1917
An unidentified submarine has torpedoed our battleship Revenge. I strongly suspect the Americans, but have no proof. So we will be sinking unidentified submarines on sight.

June 1917
Now we have some money to spare it's time to design an "ideal" battleship, the Dominant. We will also be building our first seaplane carrier.

October 1918
The Prime Minister wants another 3 battleships built, so the Enhanced class are an improvement over the Dominants, with 9x16" guns and better torpedo protection.
I don't know how we can afford them, however.

January 1919 And the Americans have started another war, so it looks like we won't be building the Enhanced-class BBs after all.
After discussions with the PM, our naval strategy is:
1. seek a fleet battle with the Americans in either the Carribean or American coast.
2. finish building the 71 subs that were halted after the last war. Then build some more.
3. put lots of ships into trade protection. Build airship bases to protect against enemy subs

Jan 1919 -- One down, 12 to go!
The Americans attacked our convoy off Ireland with an old BC and a CL. Our destroyers sun the battleship, but their cruiser managed to escape.

Feb 1919
In a bid to force the US to fight, we are invading Nova Scotia.
We are alaso putting our old Bs out of mothballs. They will probably be used as convoy escorts.

Feb 1919 - the battle of Sable Island
In a confused night battle near Sable Island (off Nova Scotia), our battlegroup attacked an enemy convoy. We sunk one of their BCs, but we unable to press home the attack due to the threat from enemy DDs. If the battle had taken place during daylight, we probably would've sunk the lot.
So that's 2 BB/BC down, 11 to go.

Feb 1919 -- the submarine war
Even though they have 4 times as many subs as us, we sink twice the number of their ships. That's good, but I'm not sure why.
Can anyone explain what the 76/0 for ASW means?

March 1919 -- Invincible by name, Invincible by nature
We fight the American fleet off Halifax. Our 3 BB/BC beat their 4, sinking them all. So that's now 6 down, 7 to go.
Special mention must be made of the BB Invincible, which although hit 21 times by heavy shells, was largely undamaged and able to continue fighting.

April 1919 -- Invaded Nova Scotia
Our forces have invaded Nova Scotia. When asked to comment on this by The Times, I suggested that maybe the Americans bravely ran away because they were commanded by brave Sir Robin. I also pointed out that we would undoubtedly be visiting some of their other colonial possessions, so if they wanted to go for a swim in the Carribean they were welcome to meet us. I hear the water is quite warm there.

April 1919 -- quit when you're ahead
Intercepted a US convoy off Halifax, destroying 16 merchant ships and 2 BCs. Unfortunately our BC Lion was also sunk trying to get their last BC. Sometimes it's best to quit when you're ahead.
8 down, 5 to go.

July 1919
We have sunk another 2 US CLs. Food is becoming scarce in both the USA and Britain, due to merchant ship sinkings. This war may be the last one standing.
Also we have invented an inproved fire control director.
