Numerous battles when the starting fleets are too far apart. - carrier battles with fleets starting ~400 miles apart but having aircraft that can scout 250 miles and strike 180 miles - convoy attack\defence with fleets so far apart there is no chance to intercept in time allowed Example screenshot below shows an convoy defence by player (US) vs AI (Germany). Observe German cruisers have headed towards the convoy on the south coast of Iceland. Battle ran out of time with German ships still far away from convoy - gives a US victory for defending the transports. I suspect this is a carrier force placement issue - in screenshot the US had carriers.

Possibly a side effect of the recent increase in engagement ranges due to carriers starting too close...if you see this again please let us know.
