I come across many very cool ship graphics far beyond my ability to draw and it would colour me pink if there was a button on Ship Design that would copy a ship drawing so we could paste it.
Also, when using Gun Data, the Armour penetration table could use arrows to cycle through the various gun calibres. That would save soo many clicks.
Thank you.

Oh, thanks. I’m confused. I want to copy a design in the game and paste the design in the game to use it. I probably didn’t explain my aim very well. For example, there are carrier designs that you have to download and drop into your save game. I forget the link. Maybe it’s in mods? And then I want to open one of those designs and be able to copy and paste that design to any ship I create or one I’m rebuilding. I hope I explained it better because I have no idea how to do that with the method you proposed!
Thanks for the reply.

You can do it by 2 ways.
1. open that downloaded design in your ship design and than start designing your ship 2. manually - save your design. Open design file with notepad or similar which you want to copy from and find line "[Funnels]". From this row after is definition funnels and superstructure. Copy all these line to your saved design over existing lines of funnels and superstructure.

That’s easy enough. Thanks! Be nice if you could also do that from the ship design window with just a click.
