As you can see choosing 20 in dual mounts causes them the places on top of each other and asymmetric. The starboard side seem to more like what is intended than the port side. I have to ask though: Why are some positions (blue question marks) not used or unusable? I could, for example place torpedo tubes in the very front, but not the back. That being said the turret placement of both main and secondaries is way smarter than in RtW1.

Can you post a copy of the ship file for that ship (it would help better address the issue)...thanks!

Can you post a copy of the ship file for that ship (it would help better address the issue)...thanks! I didn't save this particular design (too ugly) I just came across it while tinkering with a redesign. I got this with 2 other ships in the meantime. Always with 20 secondaries in twins and with the torpedo tubes in or near the middle. I could upload the pre-rebuild shipfile, though if that hels? But not today. Actually I already did that, sort of. It should be contained in my recent game upload.

Similar, but with different torpedo placement The difference is smaller and I've marked the longitudinal offset. It also happens on battleships (with torpedo tubes in the middle).
