When did you start the game? 1900 What nation were you playing? Germany Were there any start options that were not the default? Large fleets, harsher peace deals, AI advantage Describe the issue in detail.: The game started to act really weird. First of all I encountered a modern british CV with 3 a/c, then started putting me in very unbalanced battles that last being a large battle, where it has pitted my single CA and 3 DDs against 3 CVs, 2 CAs and some other light forces with foreseeable consequences. It was at least the 3rd battle with such unevenness. While I had more CAs available medium battles were played with DDs only. etc. What were you doing when the bug occurred? Was in a war with Britain since 9 months, was blockaded even though I had superior forces and have not lost decisively a major (large or fleet action) Game save drive.google.com/file/d/1F6TMR5SGLwe0yGZ7CzGhTf7BG_hbPmW0/view?usp=sharing

Thanks for the save game, will look at it. (Just to be sure, I assume were you were not using any mods that could affect game balance?)

The battles are uneven when they can be, I will describe below.
The are several reasons for that statement: 1. Battles in Northern Europe region a) you have only 1 fast battleship and 3 battlecruisers (only 2 in Northern Europe), UK has 3 BC in Northern Europe ==> your forces are equal b) You have only 1 cruiser in that region (CA), UK has several CA and CL in that region ==> you are completely outclassed c) you have many slow battleships, much higher number than UK but their value is quite limited as they are useful usually only with fleet battles, sometimes in large battles d) you have many CV, much more than UK but for smaller sorties you have not so many ships to protect them (BC, CA, CL) in Northern Europe compared to UK
2. Battles in Indian Ocean (invasion support battle) a) You have only 1 ship (CA) in that region compared to UK which has several ships included battlecruisers in that area
I have tried to start battle with that save and getting this battles: 1. Northern Europa: 5 BB, 2 BC, 6 CV, 2CVL ... vs. 3 BC, 3 CV, 2 CVL ... - you get quite larger force 2. Indian Ocean (support invasion battle): 1 CA vs. 2 BC, 1 CL, 2 DD - uneven but correctly as there is no more ships in that area 3. Indian Ocean (support invasion battle - defence of convoy): 1 CA vs. 3 BC and 1 DD - again it is correct 4. Northern Europa (cruiser battle): 1 CA, 4 DD vs. 3 CV, 2 CA, 7 CL, 15 DD - it is uneven but you do not have so many cruisers and I expect CV are not supposed to operated without proper escort force or it can be just bad luck 5. Northern Europa (coastal raid - large): 3 BB, 2 BC, 6 CV, 1 CVL ... vs. 3 BC, 3 CV, 2 CVL ... - you get superior force against enemy
Summary: So only in 1 of 5 cases you have smaller force in area that you can have more ships so I cannot see anything uneven as in 2 cases you have much larger force than UK.
I suggest following: 1. organize your forces to important areas 2. do not accept battles in areas you have much smaller force than enemy (eg. Indian Ocean). 3. build proper escort for your capital ships, especially carriers, you have not many cruisers and almost all your cruisers are used in colonies and none of them remain for fleet duty including protection of carrier 4. build more fast battleships (27 knots and faster), slow battleships (you have only 1 fast battleship) are not so useful at date you play
