Well here's a weird one for the bug catchers. Every single torpedo bomber on my carriers in an invasion battle mysteriously transformed into flying boats. Let's ignore the fact that the USA launched an invasion through my blockade, into a sea zone where I outnumber the enemy. Instead, lets look at my lovely Hurricanes which, just one turn after torpedoing a bunch of enemy carriers, decided to pretend they're flying boats instead. Reloading the game does not correct the issue - the squadrons are correctly identified in the various menus and their planes are correctly identified as Hurricanes, but for some reason the type of plane is incorrect. It insists that these are flying boats, and will not let me assign torpedoes as payload or perform other proper torpedo-bomber tasks. I have included a copy of the save file for your perusal. Since it's fairly late-game, I had to split up the file into several parts to overcome the attachment limitations here. edit: just noticed that the manufacturers don't match. My torpedo bombers are Short Hurricanes. The planes I have in-game are Vickers Hurricanes, one of the first aircraft I developed. I guess the game got confused about which "Hurricane" to include. I was able to salvage the game by misspelling the Vickers Hurricanee in the main save file and reloaded the scenario and now everything is working properly. Still not sure how the game got confused between the two planes the first place, since I've used them in several earlier scenarios without issues.

screenshots 2 and 3, showing the manufacturer mis-match.

Thanks for the report! The intention is that it identifies aircraft types by unique ID numbers, not names, so in theory, this shouldn't happen. Nor should it reuse aircraft names. I will check on this.
Edit: Hmmm, it seems that theory and practice are different things. Sometimes it will indeed use the name as id. This will be fixed for the next update.
P.S. I like your avatar!

Thanks! I did rename the class because I wasn't satisfied with the original, so that may have contributed.
