While reading the forums, I came across a thread alluding to a DLC. This is great news, however there are still a few bugs that need to be fixed in the main game.
So here is a list of bugs still present in v1.24. The list will be updated and thus will be in chronological order of encountering the problems:
1. When designing a rebuild using a foreign yard, the rebuild actually happens at "Builder: Local yard" according to the "Ships under construction" tab and the building location is blank in the rebuild pop up.
2. The "conning tower armor" can not be changed for rebuilds/carrier conversions. Removing a conning tower for a carrier conversion is thus not possible.
3. Loading a completed design study (Ready=1 flag in the file) from the design window does not behave like loading the same design from a ship of that design under construction or a ship in service. The former method incorrectly treats it like a new design and does not start with the "10% change, <class name>".
4. When designing a ship, changing the building nation does not update the guns (eg quality). It is thus possible to design a ship with eg 12''Q1 guns and central firing in country A (Austria). Then switch to country B (Britain) for better tonnage and fire control, while retaining the 12''Q1 guns which Britain does not have.
5. Loading a design, which had a "foreign yard" selected, reverts to "blank" building location and "blank" fire control. This should only happen if the foreign yard is not available anymore due to deteriorating relations.
