Vertical axis: AP shell weight Y:origin game X:my first adjustment Z:second adjustment It may make your gaming experience worse, this is just my personal adjustment ,Use it if you are interested (Remember to backup) Change gun's shell weight (to change structure and flooding damage), rate of fire, To make large-caliber shells more deadly, Increased the difference in damage of each caliber ammunition Significantly increased the rate of fire of small caliber ammunition Unified the rate of fire of large-caliber ammunition, in various debuffs and buffs of the game, hope to achieve a rate of fire of 1 round per minute at medium and long distances. To compensate for the reduction in damage caused by the upper limit of the rate of fire, Based on the previous modification, the damage of the 2-4 inch gun has been significantly increased gun.rar (1.22 KB)

Just fyi the gun shell weight doesn't affect damage. I tested it myself by giving 16" shells 5" weight and noticed no change in battle. What it does effect is the weight of ammo in the ship designer. ROF works fine of course

ROF works fine of course thank you, is there any other way to modify damage? I tried several ways, in different files, but tests seemed to indicate there's no difference. Also, there's hardcoded limit to RoF of 4, and increasing it only skews balance further toward big guns.

There's other ways to increase lethality. Ex: I've found a bug that can give unrealistically good accuracy. For example, 141%. Other ways is increasing penetration, increasing probability of belt pens. When you want to increase damage to DD penetration does nothing, sadly. Can you increase penetration differently to different calibers?
