since the discussion is on tonnage allowances would we also see an increase in CL tonnage or even a Removal of the Tonnage Limit entirerly for that class There effectively isn't a limit on CL tonnage currently. Just have to click no when it asks if you want to reclassify. wait what You mean to tell me I've been Stuck dealing with that for the Last Year and it can be skipped like that I get that its probably a loophole But I've been Annoyed about the 8k Limit for a while (I usually give up on CLs by the 20s ingame due to it)

The limit is raised to 10 and then 12k tons anyway?

The limit is raised to 10 and then 12k tons anyway? It is but essentially they are enforcing the london/washington naval treaty limits throughout the entire game and that bugs me because Protected Cruisers where often similar sizes to the Armoured Cruiser and yeah I end up with CA's in game that are faster than a stripped down CL focused on speed and it bugs me that CLs have to essentially be useless to keep up with my fleet and work as a screen when I want them as a Screen and to not have to gimp my CA's to do a CL's Job If that makes no sense tell me and I will try to orgainise it better because that went a little ranty

Can this be toggled on and off in the middle of a battle (e.g., I set it to autoresolve, then notice that there's a division stuck in an inlet and manually direct them out, then set autoresolve back on)?

Great news While I'd never do it for a cruiser action or above, I could see me using that for some destroyer actions, or for the 'mopping up' phase It would also be cool for a game as "Chief of the Naval Staff" as well, where you have no tactical impact at all.

Question regarding Campaign divisions. Will the player be able to set divisional roles?
For example, could I set the 12th USN Heavy Cruiser Division to scout for the 3rd USN Battleship Division or set the 4th RN Light Cruiser Division to screen the 8th RN Carrier Division? Or create a CVL division and assign it to support a battleships division?
If not, could this be added to the list? I think this would open up a lot of avenues for players to test ships designed to more niche roles and unique designs.

Would it be possible to expand the Naval Treaties to include escalation clauses instead of being wiped when a war breaks out? Would fit with the added AI wars.

This may be a silly question, but is it too late to get in as a beta tester?
I mainly want to so I can get a head start on building a mod I've been mulling over since the second time I played RTW1 a few years back. It always sucks that by the time you are done building an extensive mod, the player base has mostly moved on (apart from the grognards who are also modding).

Thanks for the inquiry. We run closed/internal betas, and right now we have a sufficient number of beta testers for our needs. If that changes, I will PM those who have expressed interest in helping out, so there is that possibility.
Thanks again!

No problem. I figured it was unlikely, but it couldn't hurt to ask.

Will there be an increase to possible CL belt armor past 3 inches?

Yeah, before CLs were closer defined, the US built at least one class of heavy cruiser with a 4 inch belt that would get reclassified as a light cruiser once that treaty passed as well.
