Just bought the game, I am enjoying it. However the ui is quite small on my 1440p monitor, is there any way to increase it? I tried looking through preferences and any other option menu I could find to no avail.
I would rather not need to use the magnifier to play.

I haven't tried it for lack of need, but Windows has built-in global DPI scaling settings that you may want to experiment with.
Let us know how it goes.
If all else fails, simply reduce the screen resolution when playing. It would accomplish roughly the same thing - making UI elements look bigger.

Oh, I completely forgot about the scaling from windows. That works well enough.

I am trying the demo on a 1920x1080 laptop, and it shows up as one quarter of the screen. DPI scaling had no effect at all for some reason, and on the lowest resolution that proportionally fits my screen, it still appears a bit small. I would consider this pretty unplayable TBH.

I'm not sure what you mean by quarter of the screen. If the window doesn't cover the whole screen, you can resize it.

But even when resized, the text is painfully tiny. I would be playing now if it didn't hurt my eyes so much.

Try reducing your desktop resolution or using the built-in Windows magnifier app. If it's just the starting window that bothers you, it's a small inconvenience to overcome.

It's not just the starting window but all the text in the game. I think it really needs an update for modern screen resolutions, but it's probably fine on a chromebook or something like that. I might try setting up a windows emulator on my android tablet.

I play it at 3840x2160 and I don't have any scaling issues. It works just fine on my laptop with a large external monitor.
