Minefields. It's always difficult to know how many times you've run over a minefield without damage, but then when you see the AI pull off the track in the attached save and realise they lost just one DD yet it feels like my own heavy ships are mine magnets... Edit 1: The minefield marked almost directly due south of battery 11 is where the DD sunk - it's pretty hard to spot with all the blue tracks crossing it Edit 2: My ships being in port was one of those "oops" moments when you fail to spot the popup and hit space for another turn Attachments:Game8.7z (159.82 KB)

I've never, ever seen an after-battle report that said an AI-controlled ship hit a mine. I did not think it was possible.

My big issue with mines is repeatedly I've watched AI warships and even divisions make last minute course corrections around a mine indicator, and then immediately resume course as soon as they're on the opposite side. It suggests that the AI can see opposing minefields and that would be why they never hit them.

The enemy ships will auto-shuffle out of the way of your mines the same way your own ships do, making it physically impossible for enemy ships to hit your mines. It's pretty disappointing given how many ships I've lost to enemy mines in scenarios. NVM I just witnessed a British cruiser eat a mine after they chased me into port
