Greetings all: I am having difficulty playing the Second Otranto scenario in SAI at the Admiral and Rear Admiral levels. The flagship for the most important force in the scenario is "Valona harbor", and I have no ability to control the forces at sea as a result. "Change lead division" to one of the forces at sea is immediately reversed as the new lead division is not in sight of the "flagship" at Valona harbor. Twice the AI has changed the flagship to a ship at sea early in the scenario, but in other games it has not done so. As it stands most of combat in this scenario at Admiral or Rear Admiral levels occurs beyond my control. What am I missing here? Thanks, ML

Good question, it does not appear that you are missing anything. I suspect (but admittedly do not know) that 2nd Otranto was originally intended to be played solely from the Austro-Hungarian side. I tinkered with the scenario in the editor, moving the Allied warships above the allied locations in the OOB tree and making the Italian dreadnought division the Force lead. All you do is open the scenario in the Editor and use the "Move Up-Down" or "Move To..." command (accessed by right clicking a division, remembering that the Lead Division is always number 0) so that the division that you want to lead that Force is at the top, ensuring that you hit the "Refresh" button found under the OOB window when you're done. Then save and close, the default location should be in the Custom Files folder so that the original scenario is not overwritten and the modified scenario may be accessed by clicking the Custom Files tab in the main menu.
Not sure why the scenario has the main Italian Force using Velona harbour as the lead division. I have only ever played it as Austria until today.
Thanks for pointing this out. If you do not wish to mess with the Editor, let us know and I will post the modified scenario with RM Conte di Cavour as lead unit.

May I suggest you to see the Thread "Custom Scenarios", where there is another version of the Otranto 2 scenario - which I baptized 10 June - which can be played also from the Italian side.
