So I was making a minelaying cruiser and the game said I could add 60 mines on the hull, yet I can only add 30. Why is this?

Opening the design again allows me to add 60 mines, and after making the hull bigger and making a third design I was able to get 100 mines. It seems like the game doesn't update the hull mine cap until the ship is saved.

My work-around is to change the ship's class back and forth, after changing the size.
