Looks like you forgot the flags? Here are three I grabbed off google: Whoops, so I did. Here are mine: Argentina.bmp (3.02 KB) Brazil.bmp (2.8 KB) Chile.bmp (7.08 KB)

Why do yours show up in the almanac correctly while the ones I made dont?
Thank you for this mod. Thanks to you I just designed my first 8000 ton battleship with 7 inch guns. XD

Johnw, what's not showing up in the almanac - the flags? Make sure they are the right size. Your file sizes look larger than parrot's, so I'd suggest looking at the physical XbyY dimensions.

They are all 60x40. I notice that his have a thin border while mine do not. Would that cause the problem?

I'm not sure if Fredrik still reads this thread, but is there any way to replace/create the small versions of flags, in the Possessions menu? I've noticed that even if I change the, for example, Rm and RmSm files, the original RmSm is displayed in said menu.

My Byzantium and (I think) China and SAU flags do not use the border. Can't tell why yours don't work without more research, but it should be a simple matter of making them the right size and saving as a BMP file. But except for Chile, your file sizes are twice as big as parrot's.

It was mentioned earlier here that the flags count the colour in the top-left pixel as transparent. I couldn't seem to get it to work without a full border. Also, Johnw, I would seriously recommend just ordering your battleships overseas. When I played these countries, I almost never build anything bigger than a light-cruiser at home. Even then I often order CLs and DDs overseas! Edit: Also, here's an updated version. I didn't realise the 'value' of a possession in the mapdata file referred to how much it cost in a peace deal, so they've been adjusted to make it possible to take them after a war. Also cleaned out warinfo stuff relating to Chile - I made it all wrong. SAv2.zip (110 KB)

Well it was mostly a matter of budget. I couldn't afford another two battleships overseas!

So I finally managed to make my mod! I'd love to hear comments, how it works! Polish-Lithuanian-Cossack Commonwealth Alternate history game where Poland-Lithuania survives War in Defence of Constitution in 1792, thanks to miraculous victory of Tadeusz Kosciuszko and prince Jozef Poniatowski (in Battle at Praga, the name of second BC). Later, Poland supported Napoleon for a time, retaking most of the lands lost in first partition but switched sides when Napoleon was launching the invasion of England and helped coalition defeat him. UK rewarded support with former french colony of Trinidad, on basis of claims held by Duchy of Courland, an autonomous duchy in PLKC. Not much later, trading mission was established on Madagascar, continuing on the footsteps of count Maurice Beniowski, a post that soon grown into fortified city. This provoked French and the colonial war started, forcing PLKC to form navy for the first time. With UK help colony survived, and later in the century when France launched invasion of Madagascar local king called for Commonwealth help, resulting in Madagascar becoming autonomous part of PLKC. Needs to defend sealines forced expansion of Polish Navy that with the turn of the century became one of the major forces of the world. In 1900 Poland is constitutional monarchy, has budget of 24/12 mln - slightly bigger than Austria but still rather small. Poland has small dock size (12k), cautious government and inconsistent naval policy due to constant financial pressure from the Army. Poland has advantage in light forces research, with 600t DD and oil firing as bonus tech. Flag is Red-White-Red with a shield in the center bearing badges of Poland (eagle), Lithuania (rider) and Cossack (archangel). While it looks very much like AH flag, it is accurate flag of Poland from XVIIth century (minus archangel, that was added during uprisings in XIXth century), besides I thought it represents better three parts of Commonwealth than other options - red or white-red. Poland in game controls Baltic States, Trinidad and Madagascar. other countries are UK, France, Germany, Russia, AH and USA (set as friend of PLKC) Ship names: BBs are kings, BCs are battles, CAs are regions, CLs are cities and a few famous commanders, DDs are mix of weather phenomena and animals Besides those, few names of XVIIc Polish ships are scattered on the lists. I added few names for AMC, but definately not enough for large MS fleet, so those will need to be numbered. Subs are also numbered There are also flags for side pictures - big, small and jack I added changed MapData file that is optional - remember to make copy of original file. changes: Baltic States got oil while AH lost it - this oil was in southern Poland, so Poland controls it East Prussia is worth 8 pts so it can be taken in a peace deal. unzipped into NWS folder should place all files in respective folders Rule the Waves.zip (106.81 KB)

Has anyone played this PLKC mod? It sounds great Archelaos, but I'm curious, does it generate the MTB errors late-game that I get occasioanly? Also, what are the opponents? I really like Japan and US in my games, or else it doesn't feel like a "global" game.
