Chile cant support any ships at all in south american west coast. that causes problems since it there build zone and ships have to hang out there while there working up.

So i was trying out the Poland-lithuania mod and i noticed two problems. The first one was when the game tried to spawn the legacy fleet i got a LOT of erros regarding all the ship files. The second was that when i then decided to build the legacy fleet manually the ship i designed did not appear in the build menu, am i being an idiot and doing something wrong or is this a genuine bug/error? Do you have any other mods installed? As there could be some conflict between different files, as my mod changes map files among other things. What language are you using? There are some polish characters left in the name file, it may produce errors maybe on some language packs? I have played full 3 games with PLKC plus one with it's half done early version, not to mention a lot of games I started for testing and not encountered a problem you describe. Just before this response I launched 2 games with auto legacy fleet (as I usually build it myself) to check and everything went on smoothly. I also know garrisonchisholm played all the way to 1950 and a few test runs before he started his AAR and had not mentioned such problems

Soviet Union Mod All Glory to the Worker's and Peasant's Navy my comrades! So Rule the Waves was built on the game Steam and Iron, which had a "Russian Intervention" scenario where the British square up against a Bolshevik dreadnought. If you look in the flag section of the Rule the Waves files (not ShipParts), there's actually a Soviet Naval Flag in it. As such, I decided to create a Soviet Union mod. So the Soviet Union enjoy Rapid Economic Growth, which is meant to represent the industrialization that the Soviet Union went through during the Five-Year Plans. This gives it larger budgets later in the game, but it can cause quite a bit of unrest. In addition, the Soviet Union does not suffer from Poor Education, as the Soviet Government did make considerable improvement in the educational system that it inherited from the Russian Empire (such as it was). On the other hand, the Soviets suffer from having an inconstant naval policy, which represents how the fleet was allowed to languish in real life from the Red Revolution to the start of the Cold War. Plus, as a new revolutionary republic, the greatest threats would probably come from land neighbors, which would require the new government to prioritize the Army. The Soviet Union also suffers from the Bombastic Head of State, which is meant to mirror the desire to "export the revolution" making other states suspicious of it, plus the usual fallout from a major country having a revolution and killing off all of the old ruling class that foreign nations knew.
The names of the Ships are in Russian, which I don't speak. To get the names in Russian, I had to use Google Translate, so the spelling may be imperfect (or completely wrong!). Due to the 1900 starting date, many of the names used by Soviet ships IRL did not make sense (Frunze, who got a battleship named after him, was 17 in 1900). The naming convention is as followed: B/BB: The various Soviet Socialist Republics (Russia,Ukraine, also Poland and the Baltic States) as well as Communist/Revolutionary nomenclature. BC: Major Cities in the Soviet Union CA: Famous Revolutionaries and Regicides CL: Russian Communists and Lesser Revolutionaries, Smaller Russian Cities, and the various Ethnic Groups in Russia SS: AG-#

Ah yes, the glorious motherland. I cooked up a Soviet Union custom nation for personal use. Largely similar (crummier economy by a point or two), with the modern Soviet ensign instead. Added Crimea in the Med and a knife fight battle in the Black sea, but haven't gotten it to fire. In late game, I collapsed a French Government, and proceeded to 'annex' Northern France by save editing and locking in a 999 month alliance. Half a mind to insert subdivided territories for 'invasion by land' if a revolution is tripped.

Good day, Admirals! Being my first time posting something on this forum I would like to show you my work! the nation pack contains many new nations, Some nations may be redundant from what I seen on this thread.
The nations added with this pack are: -Argentina -ANZAC (Australia/New Zealand/Fiji) -Brazil -Canada -Finland -The Ottoman Empire -the Qing Dynasty All the ations are furnished with all the files required, flag, War info and ship name Ship name are mix of Geographical place/Historical/modern ship So, what are you waiting for! Get I’m today and get a free Pol III patrol boat in your mailbox!

The country listed below are almost ready to use but there is a little problem… The country does not exist! I know there is a way to create a new possession but all my attempt failed for the moment. -Chile (I know Parrot created a map data with many possessions in south America) -Denmark -Netherland (for the moment there is only the Dutch east indie) -Norway (Skjold created Scandinavian possessions) -Portugal (Only Angola and Mozambique for now) -Sweden And maybe I will make those countries since I’m quite motivated -The Entente power and central power (since there is some flag ready) in a ww1 scenario -SFR Yugoslavia (Because I can!) -Corsica (you know, the independentist) -Latvia/Blatic States (Sure it’s a big navy you got there!) -Spanish republic (Spanish civil war) The not sure section -Alaska (Achooo!) -Madagscar (remember pandemic II?) Anyway, any help with the possession problems will be rewarded with a free Norge coastal defence ship!

Uh, one suggestion. A standard map for all mods. I mean, I play the Sweden mod, it has a specific map file, so if I want to play other nations that have their own mapfile I need to copy paste stuff. Why not unify everything? One file, ALL THE MODS! Also, give a bonus tech and a research advantage to them, even if it's something very basic? I mean, they're small enough as it is, a couple of 'advantages' won't make much of a dent in the UK. (Heck, ANZAC and Canada would probably share tech advantages with the UK.) Score: PERKELE!/10.

Seriously though, I think you'll find that modding in new possessions isn't that hard. Take a look at the ones that are already done for an idea, and use the battle editor program to get coordinates for where you want to place stuff. Good luck!

I've been working on a Netherlands mod (it's still being tested) as well as an Australia Mod (which is progressing slowly but steadily). I'm not particularly good at modding in new provinces (I've modded in the Netherlands but I'm not very experienced with modding as it is).
I like the list you've assembled, and I'm sure I'll enjoy these mods!

And your dreams will become true! I have finally understood the art of making new possessions! And new nations are finally ready to rule the waves!
Some nations have been upgraded with Research or Bonus tech, but I have no idea for some of them. (Qing dynasty or Chile for example, what can I give to them?)
-Done! Canada and ANZAC got a bonus in ship design research
Wanna fight, mate? Just kidding Im gonna use your mapdata for Chile, peru and Ecuador, because, well, you already created them correctly! Maybe I will make all central American country separately.
Yep I have seen this, mainland Netherlands seems to work well, good job on this! don't worry I’m not good too, I’m sure there is plenty of bug with my country, especially with the warinfo file!

Could someone explain why in my battles as Brazil, my ships and battles are under the horn of Africa instead of the coast of South America. Is my geography off some how?

Could be an issue with the either the War Mission that the computer picked, or an issue with the possession information. If this is someone else's mod, than they would have a better idea. If this is your own mod, than I'd recommend checking the War Missions using the editor: look where the starting points for the two fleets are, and where the center-point is. I know from my own experience that either of those two can cause errors.
