Just some suggestions that I had.
Hurricane Bow for carriers Open and enclosed hangers :
Flag ship option: Maybe make it like a colonial service box. In that ships that are built with the box checked if a admiral is on that ship it might improve the fleets gun fire or communications. Could make an admiral transferring to a non flag ship interesting. Just wouldn’t be sure how it would be interpreted if you only want it on one ship of a class like how the South Dakota’s were.

Flag ship option is an interesting idea. I assume that most of the battleships were suitable to act as flagships, but in the Regia Marina the light cruisers Duca d'Aosta and Eugenio di Savoia had an admiral bridge while the similar Montecuccoli and Attendolo did not.

You do hear about some battleships being especially built as flagships, but it seems that most of them fulfill that role at one point or another during WW2.

Mother Ships: vessels carrying torpedo attack craft or small submarines (of possibly varying degrees of suicidal?) close to enemy bases/forces... A tech to allow special attack craft for raids of enemy ships in harbour? Everything from mini-subs to boom-jumping torpedo boats!
