I wonder if RTW3 has put in place a system for AI to better build fleets. At the moment we can end up in very unrealistic scenarios like the RN having short range battleships, a USN being made mostly of CAs, or an Italian navy in the 1930s with more carriers than battleships (all this happened to me). In particular, I think AI-made American, British, French and Japanese fleets should include a few long range ships (maybe even an extreme range ship too although I struggle to see the point for ER ships at the moment) and please NO short range ships other than maybe early DDs. All the other nations: Germany, Russia, Austria, Italy, Spain and China do not need to have long or extended range ships but they could incorporate some cheaper short range capital ships in their fleets.
Will AI build fleets a bit like this in RTW3?

I hope so, I spend a lot of time manipulating the save games and the IDes file (where the AI gets it's so t designs from) to try and get my opponents to use more historically and nationally suitable (mostly taking from real and never-were designs) ships.
