I have experienced this three times now. When loading ships before a Fleet Battle type mission, I get the message (may not be exact) "Cannot find ship file, C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rule the Waves 3\Save\Game2\Moltke.22d" When I look at the folder in question, I see that the Moltke file is Moltke.20d, not .22d. I previously experienced the same problem with the Derfflinger. Suggested steps to reproduce: Keep advancing the turn, declining all battles, until you receive a Fleet Battle type mission. drive.google.com/file/d/1-qw2gBXmn3SRy_B53ewcG0rzGQb3PTlp/view?usp=sharing

Same issue here. Cannot find ....save/game1/Deutschlandlied.14d Deutschlandlied is 10d file extension. It participated fine in previous battles though.

When loading an autosave, I got a slightly different error: "Can not find ship class file for ship: Euridice Class: Tersicore Side: 1 Filename: [install dir]\\Data\IDes\Tersicore.sdf" Since my savefile is over 1MB, I'll post it over on the Matrix forums.

Making a copy of Deutschlandlied.14d and renaming it Deutschlandlied.10d seems to have solved the problem

Uh-oh. Just had a battle where Russia deployed 3 Deutschlandlied-class BCs. Apparently file extensions define the country, so changing the file extension was a bad solution.

Matrix operations has made some changes to the Steam cloud save for RTW3, please let us know if this helps any with your future saves.

I wasn't using cloud saves in the first place, so my issue isn't related.
