Interested to see how internment in neutral ports is handled in the RJW expansion as several ships ended up in neutral ports.
One reason I ask is I have seen examples in The North Sea Campaign where the option to seek internment would make sense.
In my current campaign, early in the war all four German BCs ran into the entire Grand Fleet off the West Frisian Islands. They turned and were pursued south as six British BCs and a cloud of cruisers and destroyers blocked their escape to the west, and the British battleline blocked off escape to the north. They were pursued down the Dutch coast taking damage all the time and not being able to give an effective response.
One isse is the ships would have been in neutral waters most of this time, the other was that when they got to Hook of Holland their route south was blocked by the westward just of the coast and the British Battlecruisers. Having fought gallantly for many hours, and in pretty poor shape, I am sure in real life the force would have sought internment at that point. Their route home blocked, taking damage. a large neutral port nearby, why would they sacrifice themselves as they did in the game?
End result not one RN ship was sunk. The Germans lost all four completed BCs and some cruisers and destroyers.
