Another problem some turns later ... for all Novik was not used last turn, not damaged, not upgraded it appeared suddenly in new group 1/I Destroyer division II So I'm trying assign it back to original group 1/I Destroyer Division ... but this is located in Reval (I never moved this group to Reval and never finished a turn in this port) ... and following error appears ... Here is the save: It seems it is dividing divisions a little too often. I will take a look at this. Thanks for the feedback!

Small bug - have two similar Japanese DD73 and sunk both. Probably not a bug. Japanese DD 73 starts life as a unit of the Yokohama Patrol, an AI controlled force intended to be out of Player control. Small torpedo boats ( DD 73 is one of the small, rather generic 190-ton Torpedo Boat class) and AMC's that are in these roles should spawn replacements if they are lost. This facilitates the AI maintaining those standing patrols that were in operation throughout the war but outside of the Player's command. Japan (and Russia) had a number of torpedo boats that were deliberately omitted from the game's OOB with this in mind. Note that there is a bug that occasionally replicates player-controlled ships after a scenario-turn that Fredrik has worked to squash but your DD 73 example does not appear to be the duplicate ships bug at work. EDIT:On closer inspection there are in fact two DD 73 so it may well be a bug. One is part of the Yokohama Patrol and the other is in the 11th DD Division. So this is appreciated.Thanks for the report.

Strange behavior of AI-Japanese CA's... My Bogatyr met Izumo & Azuma near Fusan. Their speed was 22 knots, my - 20 only (bad weather). Time was abour 12 AM, and I prepared to say bye to my best transport hunter. Some 8' shells already splashed near him. Bogatyr was pressed between coast, Fusan minefields and 2 mighty fast CAs. It's the end? Strange, but no.
As last hope I turn to SW, to the edge of enemy minefield. Both CAs don't turn! They carelessly continue to NW, and in few minutes contact is lost. I was glad to save Bogatyr, but...
Think that meeting should have other final.

Hard to say what was the cause in this case. The AI takes account of lots of things, it might have been low on ammo or fuel, and it is also sometimes subject to mistaken identity.

Here is another strange situation ... Minelaying Division home base is Reval. I sent division to mission and returned back to Reval. When turn ends game asked me, If I want return Minelaying Division to Helsingfors (why when I started at Reval?). I choiced Not to all ... And here is a result: game created all other groups like xxx II ... Why? Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

A new, very bad situation In North Sea campaign, part of Grand Fleet was catched, 3 BB's are already sunk by Hippers's guys, and about 30 destroyers now launch an attack against remaining British batlleships. It could be German Trafalgar, but at this moment the game crushed instead. Two first error messages are changing each other, and third message appears when I try to save game. Save is not appear, so can't attach it. Can do absolutely nothing. So bad, in fact. Didn't expect such large crush. New patch is very, very awaited...

Oh good, the magic autosave cured this problem. Errors don't appear again, game went normally.

Oh good, the magic autosave cured this problem. Errors don't appear again, game went normally. Some errors in SAI cannot be reproduced so finding the root cause may be difficult. On the other hand, this means that Autosave is indeed a friend as you discovered. To be honest I was not initially a fan of the autosave function when Fredrik added it but situations as what happened to you made me an enthusiastic convert. Glad it seems to have worked out and thanks for the continuing feedback.

Applied new patch 1.55, loaded save from 1.54. But after "Turn" and weather report got this screen.
Game is blocked, after 20-30 times of pressing "OK" (many errors like this, with different squadrons) it fully hung up.
Second attempt with same save is successful, eroor didn't appear.

Playing a SAI Campaign as Germany and "lost" 3 ships this turn as the program seemed unable to locate them. They had been in the II Flandern Halbflottille II at Oosternde in repair (DD's A11, A13, A14). I have attached the turn previous to the error (69) and the turn in which it occurred (70). This has occurred previously, but I ignored it at the time. Is the savegame file corrupted or just a bug? Thanks. Attachment Deleted. Attachment Deleted

The save is fine and indeed the three boats have vanished although they still had entries in the Repair section of the saved file. I fixed the turn to replace the missing boats, they are still under repair but should be available in two weeks. Hopefully FW can determine why they disappeared in the first place.
