Will like to ask two questions about te game in current state.
1- is possible to control WW1 corsair warfare for the Germans? The Pacific and Indic oceans. And will that affect the things back at home?
2- during the Great War there were some succesful attacks with planes against ship. Will be possible in the future to see player controlled seaplanes carrying torpedoes?
thanks.

And will that affect the things back at home? SAI is primarily focused on fleet operations. Long term raider warfare is not covered by the simulation. 2- during the Great War there were some succesful attacks with planes against ship. Will be possible in the future to see player controlled seaplanes carrying torpedoes? thanks. That might be a subject for future expansions covering the 20:s.

And a specific campaign controlling those raiders?
The 20's expansion should cover carrier aviation including fighters and bombers. IS that a option for a future game?

And a specific campaign controlling those raiders? As to raiders, there were some good suggestions posted in the old forum like for instance some sort of window for incoming and outgoing raiders in the North Sea campaign and/ or some sort of abstract player's influence on raiders, comparable to subs. A raider campaign would be a nice addition too, even though features like replenishing raiders (similar to TAS), landing parties etc. are currently not available within SAI. For such features a further developement and a 3rd SAI edition would probably be neccessary but unfortunately I don't see a major demand for this - even though it would allow for strategies and "What ifs" that could be more interesting than those of the North Sea Campaign and its geographic and historic "two fleets rotting in harbour" context from my point of view ...

Interesting ideas. Thanks for sharing them.

... A WW1 raider campaign should last for at least one, better two or three months of duration – day by day – but on the other hand offer an ultra fast game speed, a multi hemispheric approach, landing parties, coal supply challenges etc. in order to avoid uneventful cruises of single ships. So probably the old TAS engine would be a better basis than the one of current, turn based SAI. Looking for some similar thing I ordered Strategic Naval Gunnery (SNG) a few years ago but never received a key.

I have another question, of I can use this thread ...
I'm playing JRW like Russian and have problem with operation planing. I want to send a cruiser from Port Arthur to hunt Japs transport and make new minefield. So I have activated one cruiser and one minelayer, both from different divisions. Cruiser is Independent, minelayer is Independent. But when scenario starts, minelayer is following my cruiser and it always switch back to AI ... What I'm doing wrong, how to send minelayer to separated and independent action? Thanks for suggestions

Thanks for suggestions If you are playing in Admiral's mode, only the "lead" division of each Force is controllable by the player, so you can't operate the two (single ship) divisions separately. A work-around is to reassign the minelayer to the 2nd Pacific Squadron, which is another Force.

Or let the cruiser escort the minelayer to the minefield, then detach the minelayer and send it home.

I have another question ... I refused reinforcements from Baltic Fleet some turns ago. Will I have another chance, will game ask me again?

Sorry, I might have misunderstood. In the RJW there are two options to accept reinforcements. In Feb 1904 you get the option to accept the forces in the Red Sea that were in transit to Port Arthur when war broke out. If refused, these ships should form part of the Baltic Fleet. In June 1904 you get the offer to accept the Baltic Fleet by spending Victory Points. This is a one-time offer and should you decline there will be no reinforcements for the Far East. If you accept they will arrive at Camranh Bay in May 1905. Thanks.
