Just a little request. Is it possible to have more save slots than 5. At least 10?

I would also like to see this. I find the 5 save slots in RTW a pain.

Agreed. 5 slots is too few.

Worst case, you can back them up manually. They are in the "Save" sub-directory.

Why are save slots limited at all? What is this, a fifteen-year-old console game?

I think it's because each save consists of a directory, not just a save file as with many other games, which likely introduces some complications with allowing the user to select a save location whenever he hits save, as many other games do. For example, do you possibly get save corruption if the user selects a save location that is nested within his previous save?
Still, I don't see why the game couldn't allocate new save slots dynamically.

The number of save slots for RTW2 will be increased over RTW1 in some manner.

The number of save slots for RTW2 will be increased over RTW1 in some manner. Perfect, I will not need my sub folders anymore. Right now my "save" folder consists of folder save 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, then a "old save" folder and a "even older save" folder, each contains 5 slots. But every time I want to use some of these, I need to delete a slot in the main folder, and copy-paste a slot from one of the sub folders.

Why are save slots limited at all? What is this, a fifteen-year-old console game? When I bought RTW that was my first thought. We all have PCs and a lot of RAM/HDD space to save hundreds or even thousands of saves of a game like this.

Cuz this is an ironman game not some sort of sissy save 'n reload Panzer General.
I like it this way. Makes you think before decisions as effect mostly cannot be reversed.
THIS IS SPARTA!

I think people are requesting being able to have more than 5 separate games saved without having to utilize workarounds. For example, I'm sentimental about games, so I still have my first campaign save file. The problem is, that takes up 20% of the slots.
