For those who bought RTW1, how will the discount for RTW2 be applied?

For those who bought RTW1, how will the discount for RTW2 be applied?
The best (and quickest) method is to copy-paste/enter your RTW1 serial number and the name & email address used for your original RTW1 purchase into the 'additional info' section of the RTW2 order form, when the order is processed Chris Dean (NWS Store owner/operator) will double-check the number and apply the discount for valid owners. Note that if your purchase name/email address does not match the original purchase name/email address we likely will request additional information from you to insure you are a valid owner of the original game.
If you do not have your RTW1 serial number you will need to email Chris Dean at >This Email Address< and give him the name & email address used for your original RTW1 order (including the approximate date of purchase would also help) and he can look up your RTW1 purchase up & email your original RTW1 serial number to you, which you can then enter in your RTW2 order as mentioned above.
If you are missing your RTW1 serial number I recommend contacting Chris early (well before you order RTW2) to obtain your RTW1 serial number as that may speed the whole process up a good deal.

I'm suddenly curious about how "you will be able to download and play immediately" (which we've been told in another thread) will interact with "Chris will process the order, double-check the number and apply the discount."

That's because the game is farther along than any potential 'other' changes at the moment
Oh...and there are still some tidbits about the game we have not released, just to save some surprises for you potential players.  |

Ummm i was duging in my e-mail but only find the SAI+campaign expansion and the RJW e-mails, not the RTW e-mail... is estrange because i dont remember use other e-mail to buy RTW... thanks to my digital "Diogenes syndrome" at least i have the game serial (+ 1.0 version installer hehehe). Any problem if in 'additional info' you dont add the e-mail used to buy RTW1??? Its a little frustrating find even e-mails of HPS titles from 2010 but not RTW1 e-mail  EDIT: OMG i find it!!! was in my other e-mail... search function was unable to find by NWS but using rule the waves find it... |

Will the game unlock code (or however it's distributed) work on more than one device? This was never a problem for RTW as I only had one computer on which I played it. However, I'm going to university in the autumn and I don't want to have to buy it for both my home PC and my laptop.

Any more information on this security? Although I appreciate and respect the need to protect your product, truly hoping its not one of these protection schemes other companies have introduced where it is not a good user experience, such as tying to specific hardware and such. Was planning on first day purchase (still hope to), but may depend on what this turns out to be. |
