I was really looking forward for this feature when i saw it in the dev posts. In game, however, you are unable to put centerline mounts on a CV. Was this function removed?

You can make battle-carriers, you just need to use wing turrets. Port battleship, starboard carrier - it's like a bad naval sitcom

Well, I was hoping that we could put center line mounts on them, as they existed irl. For example, the late-war retrofit for the Ise-class dreadnought.

Well, I was hoping that we could put center line mounts on them, as they existed irl. For example, the late-war retrofit for the Ise-class dreadnought. I'm not completely certain, but I don't think that Ise and Hyuga could recover aircraft on the flight deck, and the only way they could launch aircraft was through the use of their catapults. A ship like that could be modeled in Rule the Waves 2 as a battleship with an unusually large seaplane complement: Not perfect, especially since for some reason I can't put more than one catapult on it (maybe it's a time thing; it's October 1933 in the game), but, but it's a legal battleship within the game and it's not that far off the historical model.
Edit: Figured it out. The game seems not to like catapults in the S and T positions, which is what I was trying to use. Putting them in the J/K positions works.
