Sorry for using 'port' as a verb(!) but as a campaign newbie I'm having a bit of trouble remembering where to park my ships after a sortie.
Are the divisions' home ports listed anywhere while the player is inside the scenario module?

lixma, there should be country flags at the ports once you're in the scenario screen, and if you zoom in the name of the port is listed there as well. although.. it indeed doesn't say which one is a ship's homeport so gotta remember them i think.

I don't think they are. But, if you press the Emergency Activation button, it will bring up your force list, and you can inspect the divisions there, and on the bases tab. Note that divisions that are already at sea will just have the flags, with no subordinate ships in them, if the entire division was activated at start.
After you go through a few turns though, you'll get a pretty good handle on who is stationed where.
Beware the basing bug, though.

Thanks for the replies. The tip about using the Emergency Activation screen is a good one, although it does rely on the button being available. Also, mention was made about a 'basing bug'? Is it anything to do with this? I re-based all my ships to Kiel for convenience so there's none left at Danzig but it shows the port running over capacity? I'm now getting penalized every turn.
