I get spy report (and earlier intelligence report - can be checked in save file) about German pre-dreadnought under construction.
It is really strange get report of pre-dreadnought under construction in 1942 after decades these ships were sunk.

I've seen similar reports - not sure if any of them were pre-dreadnought. I've been assuming that they were (o) ships undergoing refit. Is it possible that the B you're seeing was converted to CVL? That might explain it still being around....

Spy reports seem to be a hot mess in general. The spies repeatedly steal the plans for the same ships (once they managed to steal the same blueprint twice in a single turn), and the precious data they acquire seem to go straight in the circular bin, as you only get a glance at all armour values etc or a mention in the turn messages log , but when you pull the ship data from the almanac afterwards you're back to just the belt armour. If it's not error but by design, it's a pretty poor design...
