Could be possible to introduce the option of relocating the main guns of capital ships which are scrapped to coastal battery? In this way could be reduced the cost of building coastal artillery and implemented it.

In this way could be reduced the cost of building coastal artillery and implemented it. There were main guns from capital ships moved to coastal batteries by many nations. The USS Saratoga's 8 inch batteries were removed after her first torpedoing and moved to the coastal batteries of Oahu. I don't believe they are still onsite anymore. USS Lexington's 8-inch mounts were also removed on March 30,1942 and used by the Hawaiian department.

If not as a fixed mechanic could be a cool event for shipscrapping like firing practice or museum ship
