Had really wierd time with a squad of 2 of B and a suppporting DD group. They refused to navigate toward the enemy.
I eventually realized there is an invisible wall running east to west along 3547N
When they are ordered north they hit the wall and end up sailing either west or east.
The bumping of direction is consistent with a coastline except its in the middle of ocean.
Edit if you msg me an email I can send you a zip of the game.
Running v 1.11 on Win 10 Tablet, no mods.

I tried reloading the game and its still there.
I also turned off the land LOS calculation and the ships started shooting again. This appears to confirm the invisible coastline theory.
My B type is at 3546N 00239W and can't sail north due to the 3547N invisible line that is interacting with the land LOS system.

Edit if you msg me an email I can send you a zip of the game. You might be able to upload the file and attach it to the post if you use something like 7zip instead of the default Windows zip format.

You might be able to upload the file and attach it to the post if you use something like 7zip instead of the default Windows zip format. 1 MB max per attachment makes in post addition not possible for the zip Something like 7zip's *.7z format has a higher compression ratio than the *.zip format that the standard Windows compression routine uses, and *.7z is a format that the forum will accept for attachments.

E.g. In my recent GE game with max fleet size I have a savegame file size of 150kB in 1907 when compressed to ".7z". You can download the software for free at www.7-zip.org/(pls dont go anywhere else, unless you are fond of malware on your PC)
