Just a reminder that we still don't have alternate flags for the different combinations of nations and political. For instance a Facist France could put an Imperial Eagle on the French flag to be more like Empereor Napoleon Bonaparte (the first).

The Pétain flag might also be suitable for Fascist France. +1 Im in favour of an even semi-historical reference or appropriated reference as that itself can spawn discussion or researching what the flag was in the real world. These are fictional uprisings (mostly) so it is plausible that they to borrowed a known symbol of part their legitimization efforts. |

Likewise I had an AI Britain get a government type changed but the flag didnt change
