Im in the early carrier stages with converted CV and CVL. Researching co-ordinated airstrikes between carriers is far off in the research tree.
Each time I send up planes I'm being asked if I want to co-ordinate the air strike. If you say yes it will also say you can't as its not researched.
Sort of a bug, sort of a suggestion: If co-ordinated airstrikes isnt researched it should be greyed out in the air management page and no pop-up asking for it.

brygun , it is my understanding that there is a difference between a coordinated airstrike and an airstrike that is coordinated using 2 carriers. A coordinated airstrike does not need to be researched. It is always available and is always offered, via message, by the game if you do not select it. A multi-carrier coordinated strike is not available until the technology allowing it has been researched. The game will issue a warning and prevent the strike if you do not have the multi-carrier coordinated strike ability researched and you add even a single plane from a second carrier while having the coordinated strike checkbox checked.
