I recently got a new laptop. In migrating the various software over to it the time to move RTW2 over has come.
When the licence screen comes up there is the "transfer licence" option that comes up.
Clicking on it makes the activation code turn white for input.
Doesn't actually tell me what is expected to be done.
Taking a guess Ive sent in a fresh email with the new system and mid numbers.
However, Im not sure if you dont just want me to enter the existing activation code. That also assumes I still have it, which I might.
Opening the install instructions talks about a fresh install but doesn't explain the transfer process.
It thus occurs to me to not only be asking for myself but to point out there isn't apparently good documentation to joe-user on what to do to transfer a licence. Clicking on the transfer button could also open up a pop-up with instructions.

So apparently there is a PDF in the game directory...
Maybe open that up or a pop up mentioning it exists.
Only stumbled across it because of the bug can't save preferences

And it seems to have gone wrong. Probably as I clicked the "remove licence" button.
The current PDF does not mention yeah nor nay on what to do, or not do, with that control.
I got a deactivation code but never the enter new site code query.

Hello brygun The 'Remove License' button does what it states, it is there to remove the license for the game from that machine...that is all it does, nothing more or less. When you transfer the license it automatically removes the game license from the machine you transfer the game from (this is mentioned in Step 7 of the "Transfer License' document) so you will not need to remove it manually. The 'Transfer License' document is available on these forums, in a link on this page: nws-online.proboards.com/thread/2094/issues-activation-online-storeA direct link to the PDF is: www.navalwarfare.net/files/SAI/How_To_Transfer_RTW2.pdfI have test transferred the game without any issues on my home machines, and I know other players have done the same, so it does work...but not if you remove the license first Thanks.

Clicking on the transfer button could also open up a pop-up with instructions. I doubt this is an option as their DRM solution is 3rd party. But if they can introduce a wizard, I think that would be a good idea.
