Really looking forward to another improvements in next version.
Overal actual version has some nasty bugs in design screen but otherwise they are usually only minor ones and each version new additions bring RTW2 to another level.
What "nasty" bugs are you referring to? I assume they have been reported, but it is good to know which bugs are percieved as nasty.
I do not know if the nasty bugs is good expression nevertheless some of bugs does not allow doing refits without cheating or save editing, some of them are impossible to correct completely, some of them are just bugs.
I included save and make info, if this bug is easily repeated in this save.
I do not think that this is completely list but some of bugs I am aware of are (v1.15):
1. TDS bugs a) free tonnage changed even nothing is changed in design by just changing shipyard during refit - reported
here - use save included, open BC Leonardo da Vinci for refit and change shipyard and you can see how weight remaining changed
b) TDS is unmade during refit if ship is refitted in shipyard which does not have that technology - reported
here with example included
c) TDS weight differently in different national shipyard - not sure if this is bug, may be TDS weight depends on technology -
not reported yet - You can open save included, design any battleship with TDS 2. Than change shipyard and you can see that Germany shows different TDS weight between Germany and other available shipyards
d) TDS costs are not calculated properly
If you design new ship the costs of ship does not change if you use TDS or not (item is changed but not total costs) - reported
here - you can easily reproduced it in any new battleship design in save
note: I do not know how total costs are calculated but certainly sum of all parts (hull and fittings, machinery, total armour, armament, TPS weight, incidental costs, flight installation) are not TOTAL COSTS. May be that complements costs are behind and not visible?
2. Main guns refit - price bugIf you try upgrade main guns, the price for that refit is not proper shown - reported
here3. Refit ship with additional deck armourRefit of ship which has already additional deck armour added in previous refit - reported
here - use save included, open BB Taranto and look on weight remaining which is more than 1000 tons, even if it should be around zero.
4. Refit - fire control bugIf you try refit a ship in different shipyard with nation that do not have technology of fire control you use on your ship, your current FC is erased and you can do it only by inferior FC of such nation -
not reported yet - you can try refit CA Trento and you can choose Germany shipyard. You can than see, that FC is erased (blank entry) and you cannot select improved director which has been already installed on ship in previous refit
5. Refit - DP gunsIf you try refit a ship in different shipyard who does not have technology of such DP guns, the check box is greyed out but not checked -
not reported yet - you can try refit CA Trento and can choose Germany shipyard.
note: tried only on secondary or tertiary guns, not main guns
6. Bulges bugAccording to manual (the old one I have not check the new one yet) "Bulging now adds 2% to displacement up to a maximum of 500 tons."
and it gives sense that it is not fixed but percentage is used. However it is not true in game - reported
here - you can open CL Verona and try using bulges - they added 497 tons on 6300 tons ship - it is almost 8 % of ship displacement
7. AA guns costsI do not know, if this is bug but AA guns cost nothing, only indirectly costs are increased through "Complement"
8. Unit machinery during refitCannot confirmed but it was reported

I would suggest to make a little more testing as I expect there would be probably more bugs which I had not noticed yet.
