This is an error that I have seen before from time to time, and if I remember correctly it eventually goes away. In the current case, however, it comes up every time I advance to a new turn, and it's kind of annoying to click through about a dozen error messages before doing anything else.
Is there any quick cure for this? If you prefer, I can report it in the bug forum.
Thanks

I usually only see this when I test a campaign. I often play a campaign a few turns ahead, and then reload it without saving to test something else. I think it has something to do with the AI creating designs that you didn't save to the .bcs file and then when you reload a past save it has a design that it can't find in the .bcs because you didn't save it.

Well, it's possible I did as you say -- it wouldn't be out of keeping with how I sometimes play, but I don't recall anything specific. But is there any recourse now?
And really, it ought to be possible to clear out these "unsaved" designs when the game starts up, shouldn't it?

No. Just play on. And no. You don't want to clean out the .bcs file. Leave it. It shouldnt cause any lasting issue. Maybe the AI wastes money on designs that it can't find anymore, I dont really know. Not sure what the short term effect is, but there's never been a long term effect I've been aware of. I've played a few campaigns to a satisfying conclusion despite this happening. In short, you probably shouldn't reload a saved game after playing a buncha turns ahead and not saving that progress.

Yes indeed. Lesson learned!
