Is there any chance of having the ability to manually command the two sides in a tactical battle in the future?
That would be my dream come true...

Greetings Lecrop,
That's a new one - I am not sure how difficult that would be to implement, but its something we can consider for the future I suppose.
Thanks!

I`m trying to play semi-PBEM in SAI. It`s possible to play first turn for side 1, the second, for side 2. Because the game is not saved orders in strategic level for both sides, it`s impossible to play PBEM in one turn, when both sides making individual orders. But, if rework the game with possibility for both sides to make orders, this feature make possible PBEM, in wich side 1 managing manually, side 2 - in manner of turn orders.

Being able to play both sides sometimes would be excellent for several reasons.

But ii impossible to do is in the tactical battle map. The side, managing for gamer, and the side, wich manage for AI, has a different mechanics, visualization, order of battle... AI no looks fisically a ships for other side.

Not sure just what you mean, but I get the impression that since the designer chose not to include this possibility it is impossible/impractical to revisit the omission, which is a pity as such a play method seems obvious to me. Locking it into Human vs Computer only is so limited.
