I find the constant fuel remaining notifications to be very annoying. In large battles the game is constantly pausing to give fuel notifications that don't mean anything to me. I know there was a fuel range circle before, but I haven't been able to find it lately, did it get removed in a patch or am I missing something?
I would like to have the notifications replaced with a '****** has reached bingo fuel at current speed, do you want it to detach and return to port?' type dialogue.

Wow, I can’t believe this is a thing. I’ve run outta fuel like three times the whole time I’ve played this game. It’s so rare that I get flash fires two turrets burned out like ten times more often. Am I missing something here? Do my ships have tankers and refuel at sea? I thought the Americans invented that in the middle of ww2...

The combat engine for RTW comes from NWS's Steam and Iron product. In the SAI campaign mode, you run missions basically from the time they leave port to the time that they return, often across several days, and fuel state can become a concern. I have never, though, ever had a ship get anywhere near fuel depletion in any RTW mission of any length, so I'm not sure that the fuel warnings serve any purpose in the game as it stands. However, I think that it would help some player frustrations in the late game if RTW allowed the player to run missions in the same departure-to-return format as in SAI campaign mode (e.g, it would largely eliminate cases where the player spawns within range of enemy airbases), so I think I'd like to see the fuel warnings stay.
