I'm afraid I don't have a save for this but there seems to be an issue with Harsher Peace Deals when losing a war.
Several times I have lost a war and used events to seek peace, only to then be presented with the 'pick territory to acquire' menu as if I had won the war - can anyone else confirm they've had this issue or if the developers are already aware of it?

I have never encountered similar issues, which version of the game are you on?

I have just encountered this issue as Chin China. Was at war with GB, who dominated, asked to see if we could get a minimal peace deal and was told we'd have to give up a few minor territories.
I have 20 points to spend on British Territories instead. V1.19

Were all these cases using harsh peace deals?

To add my so far understanding, I think in 1.20 harsher peace deals are not exactly harsh. Almost all the time, the moment I have achieved 1-2 significant victories and have an invasion ongoing (invaded but not yet gotten the possession), a peace concludes regardless my response to the peace request and actually a peace with quite low gains (4-8 territory points usually). All this occurs usually in the first 4-5 to 8 months of the war.

I have noticed an additional issue which I think may be linked to Harsher Peace Deals. I've used it exclusively for the 2-3 months it has been available to test, and while I have not encountered the bug listed here (it must have some precise constraints), I have noted that in all that time testing I have not had an ally take a territory in a peace deal once. In 3-4 dozen games this has to be 40 or 50 wars (approx frequency of wars with allies) that I won without an ally taking a territory, even zero point territories in the same sea-zones with their bases. Has anyone else noticed this?

I ask b/c after 8 wars, all very one-sided victories, some involving opponent having a revolution, I have gotten either 5 or 6 every time. Once I got a cruiser too.

I think it's twenty off the top of my head, but I could be wrong. You won't get that kind of score very often, but it sure is sweet when you do.

10 points max when you don't have 'harsh peace deals' checked, 20 points max when you do
