Hello.
I noticed that when at war, we have only one "tactical battle" per mounth.
In a busy turn, the game can prompt first a destroyer/cruiser action, second a coast attack action, and finally a fleet battle.
But if you accept the destroyer action, you're done for the turn! And if you accept every destroyer actions, you won't get many fleet battles.
So if I want some "big guns actions", I must decline (and lose a few victory points) the first "destroyer action".
(and if I want an ennemy that don't decline too, I better have less ship than him ^^)
I find that mechanic interressing, as it allow me some "choice" if I prefer big battle or skirmish for this turn.
But at first, it have been a bit frustrating to accept all battles (for I don't want to lose VP), and end with mostly small destroyers actions.
Was it intended, and souldn't it be mentioned in the game manual?

Hmm, I don't think you only get one battle per month - I always get multiple battles and I don't think accepting one interferes with the others. I might be wrong, but it's not something I noticed problems with.

You are correct in that there will only be one battle per month. However, the battle "offers" do not come in any particular order. If you refuse the first, there might be another one, and possibly a third. However, there is no function that smaller battles come before larger or anything like that, it's totally randomized.
