Can anyone tell me how you go about deleting a saved game and also must all downloaded Mods be saved into game slot 6? Thanks in advance.

Hi Rjgowans,
I think starting a new game in a slot will over-write the existing saved data. For modding - I would if I wanted the save game, I would backup the save slot folder by copy the save folder to another location and then delete all the info in the save slot folder that I want to free up. Find your NWS folder and then dig down to find saved games and then copy save game folder x into a different location and then delete the contents of the original folder rather than the folder itself.
Depends on the mod - some need a save game spot, like Seawolfs 1936 and 1920 mods might auto save into a specific save slot. I've never used them, some other mods you should be able to download into a specific slot. A lot of mods though will affect the coding rather than a specific save slot. For instance Dizzy wrote for his Empire of the Rising Sun mod - "Drop the Data and the Flags folder of the 7zip file in the main Rule the Waves 2 folder and overwrite any files. Make sure to make a backup of any files that will be overwritten. Load the game, select a New Campaign and use the drop down menu to select Empire of the Rising Sun."

Hi Nimrod (the mighty hunter) thank you for your reply. I have downloaded the 1936 mod into slot 6 but when I try to uninstall it nothing seems to work. I find the mod good but made a few mistakes and got whipped by the Axis AI. Tried to re-install the mod but could not clear slot 6 of my inital download of the mod- any ideas how I would be able to do that.

You got the reference!
I'm not sure what you mean by - "could not clear slot 6 of my initial download of the mod". As such, I'm going to offer two suggestions. If neither of them work and or don't make sense to you (my writing style can be tough to comprehend) - I would suggest PMing Seawolf for his insight.
I would try to delete the contents in my save game folder #6 by opening your NWS folder -> Save -> (something like) Game 6. Once I have the Game 6 folder open, select everything in it and delete them. Re-download Seawolf's mod and try reinstalling off of the fresh download. "->" indicates next folder to open.
If you can't delete the contents of save Game 6, can you move the save game folder #6? If so I might try moving the corrupted folder to a new location and see if I could install a fresh download of mod into the NWS Save folder. The mod might auto generate the Game 6 save folder if one isn't there. If it doesn't auto generate the Game 6 folder, right click in the NWS Save folder and create folder with appropriate name and try re-installing the mod.
