The Scharnhorst. Designed for local area defence of the German coastline (and anywhere German forces happen to be, if not necessarily in Germany itself). Not readily apparent is that the ship is equipped with 2x twin rail MSAM launchers and 6x Twin rail HSSM launchers.

With quaruple you can save weight per every turret, you'll also can have the bigger secondary broadside using same number of guns.

With quaruple you can save weight per every turret, you'll also can have the bigger secondary broadside using same number of guns. I believe that a 2x4 main battery would get something like this classified as a BB rather than as a B, and if I recall correctly the game only places odd secondary guns on the centerline - a 3x4 and 4x3 secondary battery would both put six guns on the broadside, though the 3x4 battery will do so at a slightly lower tonnage cost than the 4x3 battery.
