Its early war 1900s playing Germany and my detached damaged ships are heading to the north pole. Dont have Norway bases. There are no German bases up there. They are all in Prussia for this fight.
Apparently they are expecting Santa's Elves to speed repairs

The best would be Svalbard Island, it has a some good anchor points like Storfjoarden to park in. |

How far did they get? Occasionally something pulls me north and begs me to see how far I can make it before the end of scenario.

The best would be Svalbard Island, it has a some good anchor points like Storfjoarden to park in. That may be in real life but this a game mechanic quirk. There are no game bases up there. I had a battle a few months later in the Baltic again myself as German and we west of the Russian port of Hango (Finland?). On detach the damaged B doesnt sail south to the german bases in Prussia but east... skirting the Hango minefield. Something is wrong north of Denmark :-P |
