Just had another case for why the detach system isn't currently reliable.
A CV with 7 points of fire active on it was detached and manually turned for a nearby port. Its already past 75% superstructure damage.
A few minutes later it rejoined its sister carrier to sail with the main combat force. There is still 3 of those fire points raging.
"Send to port" or "send to course" is very much needed for the buggy since release "Detach for damage" command.
The attached game file is right after I had to repeat the detach command haveing noticed CV Wotan, still on fire, had rejoined the carrier forces rather than continuing to get into the nearby caribeean port.
