Hi, Got an issue with custom nations roughly about 1920s onwards. Out of memory error occurs when I end turn and seems to be affected by when aircraft arrive and start coming into service (1st image). I assumed this is related to when I request aircraft prototypes and operational service. I thought it had to do with not adding any names to XXXXshipnames.DAT for aircraft manufacturers and aircraft names so I added them and made sure the headers had the correct formatting, but still getting the same issue. Once this starts an out of memory error occurs whenever I try to save/end turn/show map/closing the game (2nd image), forcing me to task kill it. Reloading the save/autosave brings me back to the game but then the error comes back when I end turn, sometimes it will let me play a few turns beforehand but inevitably creates the error. Have had to end 3 campaigns with the custom nations because of this. Can't really find any thread anywhere that discusses this so am making a thread here and hoping someone can help. Version 1.22 and 1.25 All custom nations I've made Game start: 1900 Game Setting: Harsher peace deal, slowed aircraft development, manual legacy build Medium starting fleet Installed on my D drive on Win10, with plenty of storage left on D and C drive (OS), RAM is only 30% used at most whenever I play. Initial error Error when trying to save/end turn

Hello terrortyrant , welcome to the forums! Unfortunately we cannot help much if it involves custom nations, as we have no idea what was done with them nor how they might affect the core game. I have not seen this issue with the normal game, but I suspect you have an infinite loop somewhere that is causing the game to 'eat up' all the memory that it can allocate for the game (which is normally more than would ever be required for the game). All I can say is to go through your custom nations and double-check for errors or missing values. Thanks.

Thanks williammiller I'm glad to be apart of the forum and community
The normal base game is still working fine which is good. I came across a thread from some time ago which said the issues came from the shipnames file for the custom nation and I went through that to double check and added anything that was missing.
All the names for the ships were working fine but I have noticed in-game for aircraft's names although I typed in unique names in the file and made sure I got the headers correct, in-game they are not adhering to the file.
The aircraft company is correct but the aircraft's name was incorrect instead of the unique names I've typed in the file it's just numbering them something like; "DDLN124" or "Ro151". It should be "DDLN En Bac" or "Ro En Den" so I went back to double check and effectively copy pasted from another shipname files and re-wrote my names instead to make sure, the error still comes up.
The other thing I noticed is if I walk away for about 10 minutes and come back the game suddenly lets me end turn etc. but only to have the error message come back many turns later. It is also pretty much linked to whenever an aircraft prototype is requested and the selection for which comes up is when the error occurs, it's also not consistent, 60% of the time I can select a prototype no problem but other times its just the error.
I started out customising the in-game nations like Italy and Japan and changing around some of the parameters, but kept the shipnames.dat uneditted, these games were pretty much always reliable.
I acknowledge that it is hard to help with this since it is a custom nation and even I have trouble getting them to work too, but I thought I'd detailed out the problems in case anyone else gets them and see if they found a solution.
