Question for yee knowledgeable; is displacement standard or loaded? I have been trying to build the historic British fleet but I cannot even get close. However, the loaded size makes the ships insanely expensive and even on 'very high' start I cannot afford much more than half the British fleet.

I'd imagine it's for full load displacement, since it includes complete set of ammo for the guns.

It's standard displacement.
The "weight" for extra ammunition represents space and protection allocated to ammunition stowage. Those still have to be allowed for.

Thank you for answering Fredrik, I find that I cannot build an historical British ship under standard displacement. The Invincibles were about 17250 and Indefatigables were 18800 and Bellerophon's were 18600 tons. Oil fueled engines for one does not seem to save enough weight from what i have understood.
I want to thank you for making this amazing product though, and my questions are not intended as derogatory, just an attempt to make things better.
