Grumble Section It is now minutes away from 17.00 in Florida and I still don't have the serial number for RTW that I purchased last night and when I called earlier the phone rang with no one answering it. I know you have my email address as I have an order confirmation.
Suggestion Section 1. Find some way to expedite providing the serial number. Many other vendors include the serial number with the invoice at time of purchase. In fact, no other vendor with whom I do business follows your purchase and then wait model. The serial number bearing invoice may be sent by email, but it is done immediately.
2. Provide a download at the time of purchase of the DVD version. Several vendors offer either a download or a DVD version, as you do, but I'm unaware of any vendor who sells the DVD version without a right then download as part of the sale. Ofc, the DVD version would be a bit more expensive, but sometimes I like that option.
It is now 17.05 in Florida and I just now checked the email, so I suppose it will be tomorrow, hopefully, for the serial number.

I emailed Chris Dean a quick reminder about your serial # a few minutes ago.
It would be nice to have a method of instant serial # delivery - not really possible under the current online store I believe, but hopefully we can come up with a way to achieve that anyway.

I know it is doable, I occasionally buy FSX flight sim stuff from www.flightsimstore.com/, for example. You get the serial number immediately and they have an order record where one can redownload purchases and get the serial number. Ofc, you are limited by your software and it may very well not be worth the cost of changing something that is working for you. Just wanted to toss it out as an idea, probably not anything new for you. Looking forward to getting the serial number tomorrow.

Sorry.. I read your comments in the checkout box so I had "CD" on the brain, your serial code is emailed. Normally I email the codes very shortly after an order is placed for a DL when I check the store.
We can consider a CD/DL option but so far have there have been very rarely been requests for that option. Usually players want one or the other, mostly DL.
As to having any "automated" service.. tried that in the past and it was not worth the price, logistical concerns, tech issues, or other related issues.
We mostly offer a DL option for those that don't want to pay for, or wait for, the postal service.
Side note.. the best way to make to contact us regarding "serial codes" is through the email address on the store - either email address goes right to me directly.
