Cool upate. However this feature ... * BC cannot be built until a nation has researched two levels of ship design. (This is to prevent too early appearance of "battlecruisers", which could previously be built even in the legacy fleet)... ... might be hindering when it comes to building historic legacy fleets for a certain period of time (e.g. 1900-1918)? i think i built my first BC in 1903 or something as GB, and i maybe could have built them a little earlier - it doesn't take long to get to level 2 in ship design, and the game doesn't tell you that you are able to build BCs at that time so you have to keep an eye on the tech ladder to know when you have the green light ... Yes, thxs, but I meant design packs, where all historic 1900-1918 designs of a certain navy (including BCs) are saved as a 1900 legacy fleet in one folder (e.g. KM as per 1900 folder) and can be used according to their historic dates from January 1900 onwards ...

Small bug in RTW 1.23?
In a destroyer mission near the French coast, I had the objective to sink two ships (any two ships) and did sink five (and lose 1 DD myself), but the mission review said I failed (see attachements).

And adding to my previous post: - accelerating construction doesn't work, there is an (a) with the ship under construction but the construction time remains the same as the same ship not accelerated.
- French raiders sink my ships each and every turn, but my raiders never, ever sink a French ship (we are at war now for 23 months) and there is never an interception of any French raider

Accelerating construction: If there is less than 10 months left on construction, it won't show.
Raiders: Depends on if you are blockading, where your raiders are etc.

playing as Germany, built 4 CAs with 13" guns in UK (since i can only build 11" guns). in 1903 got central firing so upgraded the 4 CAs in my own yard.
researched 12" guns in 1903 so i started building some 12" CAs in my own yard. accidentally selected to build a 13" CA in my yard and it let me, even though i only have up to 12" researched. working as intended?

start as germany
build (for example) BB-1 with 13" guns in a UK shipyard. (build 3+ of them and put 2 on foreign stations)
build the german shipyard to 16000t (will take until 1901)
do a blank rebuild on BB-1 in the german shipyard. it will now be called BB-1(1901)
you can now build a brand new BB-1(1901) in a german shipyard with the 13" guns

OK, I see how it is done, though I am not sure this is a problem. It would be similar to the Japanese ordering the Kongo from Britain and then building copies of her. One could assume that the Germans are importing the guns.

sounds ok with me - just making sure since that effectively allows every country to start with 13" guns

Yes, but it does require that a ship is built and completed in a foreign yard first, so it will take some time, and the nation still has to be able to build ships of that size, so I think it's OK. BTW what is your experience with the 13 in -2, do you think it is worthwile to use?
